Our Story
This institute didn't start with a building, a budget, or a plan. It started with a teacher who couldn't look away.
In 2010, Sir Akhtar Baloch came to Karachi from Khairabad, Balochistan, and found a neighbourhood full of bright young people with nowhere to learn. So he opened his own home and taught β for free, for five years. Word spread the way it does in places like Kohi Goth: one student told a cousin, a cousin told a friend, and the living room filled up.
On 03 August 2015, with Sir Ameer Baloch beside him, the living room became an institute. They named it Rozhn β the Balochi word for light. The fee? One hundred rupees a month. It has grown a little since, because running an institute costs money β but it remains small, and every family pays what it can actually afford. That rule has never changed.
Today there is a second branch back where the story began β in Khairabad, Turbat β so the light travels both ways.

π― Our Mission
Good education should not depend on what a family earns. At Rozhn, students pay a small fee β and they pay it according to what they can afford. That has been the rule since day one, and it is not changing.
