Distributive Pronouns
Distributive pronouns refer to people or things one at a time: each, either, neither, none.
Each of the students has a book.
Neither of them came.
Either is fine.
None of the answers was correct.
Distributive pronouns are usually singular: Each has… Neither is…
Common mistake: Using a plural verb: "Each of them are…" Correct: "Each of them is…"
