Future Perfect

Use will have + past participle for an action that will be completed before a future time.

By next year, I will have graduated.

By 8 p.m. she will have finished the work.

They will have left by then.

Often used with by + future time: by Monday, by 2030, by the time you arrive.

Common mistake: Mixing it with future simple. I will finish (simple action) vs I will have finished by 5 (completed before a future point).

✏️ Test Yourself

2. By then they ___ (leave).

3. By next week she ___ (read) the book.
