Indefinite Pronouns
Indefinite pronouns refer to non-specific people or things: someone, anyone, everyone, nobody, something, anything, all, few, many.
Someone is at the door.
Everybody likes him.
I want nothing.
Is anyone there?
Pronouns ending in -one/-body/-thing are singular: Everyone is here. Nobody knows.
Common mistake: Using a plural verb: "Everyone are happy." Correct: "Everyone is happy."
