Language & Communication
Language is how we share ideas, using four skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Communication means giving and receiving a message clearly.
| Skill | What you do |
|---|---|
| Listening | understand what you hear |
| Speaking | say your ideas aloud |
| Reading | understand written words |
| Writing | put your ideas on paper |
You listen to a teacher, then speak your answer.
You read a message, then write a reply.
To learn a language fast, practise all four skills a little every day — not just one.
Common mistake: Only studying grammar and never speaking. Communication needs practice in using the language, not just knowing rules.
