Present Continuous
Use am/is/are + verb-ing for actions happening now or around now (temporary).
I am eating lunch.
She is reading a book.
They are playing outside.
Look — it is raining!
Spelling: run → running, write → writing, sit → sitting.
Use it for right now and temporary situations, often with now, at the moment, look, listen.
Common mistake: Using it for habits. Habits use the present simple ("I play every day"), not continuous ("I am playing every day").
✏️ Test Yourself
1. He ___ (sleep).
2. We ___ (study).
3. I ___ (write) a letter.
4. They ___ (run).
