Reciprocal Pronouns
Each other and one another show a mutual (two-way) action — people doing the same thing to each other.
Ali and Sara help each other.
The students greeted one another.
We respect each other.
Traditionally each other is for two people and one another for more than two, though both are widely used.
Common mistake: Using a reflexive pronoun instead: "They help themselves" (each helps himself) is different from "They help each other" (mutual).
