WH Questions (forms)
WH questions ask for information using who, what, where, when, why, which, whose, how. Form: WH word + helping verb + subject + main verb?
Where do you live?
What is she doing?
Why did he leave?
How does it work?
The structure is WH-word → helper (do/does/did/is/are) → subject → main verb. Wh-questions end with a falling tone.
Common mistake: Forgetting the helper: "Where you live?" → "Where do you live?"
✏️ Test Yourself
1. ___ do you go to school? (time)
2. ___ does she live? (place)
3. ___ are you crying? (reason)
