'When' Questions (to be & present simple)
When asks about a time. Use is/are with "be," and do/does with action verbs.
When is your birthday?
When are the holidays?
When do you wake up?
When does the class start?
Answer with a time word: at 7 o'clock, on Monday, in June, in the morning.
"When" expects a time answer; "where" expects a place answer — don't mix them.
Common mistake: Answering "when" with a place. "When do you sleep?" → "At night," not "in my room."
✏️ Test Yourself
1. When do you sleep?
2. When is the class?
3. When ___ you eat lunch?
4. When ___ the shop open?
