Yes/No Questions
A yes/no question can be answered with yes or no. To make one, put the helping verb (am/is/are, do/does/did, can, will…) at the front.

Short answers: Yes, I am. / No, he doesn't. / Yes, they did.
With present action verbs use do/does; with past verbs use did (and the main verb goes back to base form).
Common mistake: "Does he plays?" After do/does/did, use the base verb: "Does he play?"
