Short Conversations
Listening means understanding what you hear. Read these short conversations aloud, then listen for the key words that carry the meaning.
At a shop - A: How much is this pen? - B: It's ten rupees. - A: Okay, I'll take it. Thank you.
Asking the way - A: Excuse me, where is the bus stop? - B: Go straight, then turn left. It's near the bank. - A: Thank you very much.
You don't need to understand every word. Listen for the key words (numbers, names, places, yes/no) to get the meaning.
Common mistake: Trying to translate every word in your head. This makes you slow — focus on the overall meaning instead.
