Capital & Small Letters
Every letter has two forms: a capital (uppercase) letter and a small (lowercase) letter — for example A and a.
We use a capital letter for: - the first letter of a sentence — The sun is hot. - names of people — Ali, Sara - places — Karachi, Pakistan, Turbat - days and months — Monday, June - the word I, always, anywhere in the sentence.
Everything else uses small letters.
My name is Sara, and I live in Karachi.
We have a holiday on Friday in June.
Start every sentence with a capital letter and end it with a full stop ( . ).
Common mistake: Writing the word i in small letters. It must always be a capital I.
