Conversation Practice
A good conversation has three stages: start → keep it going → end politely.
What do you do?
Where do you live?
What do you like doing?
End: It was nice talking to you. See you!
Example - A: Hi! How are you? - B: I'm good, thanks. And you? - A: Great! What do you do? - B: I'm a student. And you? - A: I'm a teacher. Nice talking to you! - B: You too. Bye!
Keep a conversation alive by asking a question back with "And you?" Show interest and the other person will keep talking.
Common mistake: Only answering and never asking back. A conversation is two-way — return the question.
✏️ Test Yourself
1. "How are you?"
2. "Where do you live?"
3. "What do you do?"
