Colors & Shapes
Colours: red, blue, green, yellow, black, white, orange, brown, pink, grey. Shapes: circle, square, triangle, rectangle, star, oval.
We can put a colour and a shape together, and they come before the noun: - a red ball - a yellow circle - a big blue square
The sky is blue.
The sun is a yellow circle.
A door is shaped like a rectangle.
Order is size → colour → shape → noun: a big red ball.
Common mistake: Putting the adjective after the noun ("a ball red"). In English the colour comes before the noun: "a red ball."
✏️ Test Yourself

2. A shape with three sides
3. The colour of milk
